Learn the lifetime sport of tennis from our outstanding experienced instructors at a price that is a fraction of the cost at other facilities. See below for the description of classes and a 4-course pathway to proficiency and a love of the game!
The 8 week Summer Session starts on June 10th!
**We will skip the week of 7/1 to 7/5 in the summer session, so there will be 8 classes in 9 calendar weeks.
(The 8 week Spring Session ends on May 22nd)
Adult Beginner 1
Adult Beginner 1 is suitable for players who have little or no playing experience. Players should be comfortable learning with other beginners while having fun and enjoying tennis. This class works on eye/hand coordination, learning to use proper grips & technique on groundstrokes, volleys, serves & overheads. Players will be fed balls by instructors to work on their shots. Scoring and basic strategy regarding all parts of the court will be learned. Towards the end of class, will play fun simulated point play games using what was learned in that class. If you don’t have a racquet, PublicIndoorTennis.com has demo racquets to use for free.

Adult Beginner 2
Adult Beginner 2 is for players who have enough experience to rally and compete socially with other players at their playing level. This class will review parts of the court, scoring, all grips & shots and will be introduced to specialty shots such as approach shots, half-volleys, slice shots and lobs. Towards the end of class, will play fun simulated point play games using what was learned in that class.

Adult Beginner 3
Registration for Adult Beginner 3 is contingent on the consent of the instructor in Adult Beginner 2 class. Players must be comfortable in a faster paced setting while rallying from all parts of the court using groundstrokes & volleys and know scoring. This class will review grips and shots used in tennis. Will be introduced to doubles positioning & strategies. Towards the end of class, will play fun simulated point play games using what was learned in that class.

Adult Beginner 4
Registration for Adult Beginner 4 is contingent on the consent of the instructor in Adult Beginner 3 class, or are rated at an NTRP of 2.5. Players must be comfortable in a faster paced setting while rallying from all parts of the court using groundstrokes & volleys and know scoring. This class will review grips and shots used in tennis. Towards the end of class, will play fun simulated point play games using what was learned in that class.
